Heder is Just a 'Mama's Boy'
Dynamite star finds his next comedy.
As I continue to cling to my opinion that Napoleon Dynamite is an absolute atrosity I bring to you news that its star, Jon Heder, has just been set to star in the title role of the Warner Independent Pictures feature Mama's Boy.
The feature will be the debut of director Tim Hamilton and will find Heder playing an arrogant pseudo-intellectual whose ideal life of living at home with his angelic mom in Texas is threatened when she falls in love with a self-help guru and prepares to marry him.
Heder will next be seen in a supporting part in Just Like Heaven followed by The Benchwarmers. Currently he is working on School for Scoundrels in which he will star opposite Billy Bob Thornton.
Mama's Boy is eyeing an February 2006 start.
