Hathaway Joins Streep in 'Devil'
One more joins popular book adaptation.
I recently passed around a copy of Lauren Weisberger's "The Devil Wears Prada" and people are loving it, then I tell them Meryl Streep will be playing Miranda Priestly in the film adaptation and they are equally excited, and while this news isn't exactly as exciting, particularly since I think Anne Hathaway is a bit of a dunce, but Variety is reporting that Hathaway has earned the role of Andrea Sachs.
The film follows Sachs, a small-town girl who gets a dream job working for a top fashion magazine, one that turns nightmarish because of her imperious boss, the mag's editor Miranda Priestly.
The screenplay was scripted by Aline Brosh McKenna and Fox 2000 will distribute the feature, which is being directed by David Frankel.
