Hathaway and Hudson in 'Bride Wars' Trailer
Does Hathaway deserve an Oscar for this one too?
It's from one wedding to another for Anne Hathaway as she stars opposite Kate Hudson in Fox's upcoming Bride Wars (1/9).
Hathaway is getting a lot of unearned credit for going against type in Rachel Getting Married, but it seems it is back to the same old with this one so I don't expect much Oscar buzz to swarm. Then again, maybe Oscar pundits now consider Anne a downer actress and this one is against type as well. Oh boy!
The story revolves around Hathaway and Hudson who will play best friends who are pitted against each other when their wedding dates clash. They compete for venues, services and guests, once it's clear that neither will step aside.
