Harden Moves into Kinkade's 'Cottage'
Casting a plenty for the new drama...
Casting has been ramping up on this one as Thomas Kinkade's The Christmas Cottage has just cast Marcia Gay Harden alongside Jared Padalecki and Peter O'Toole.
The biopic for Lionsgate just yesterday cast Padalecki as Kinkade in the film inspired by the early life and art of renowned painter. It is the story of how a small community and an aging mentor come to the aid of a family to save the only home they have ever known; and along the way teach a young man the meaning of love, friendship, and what it means to be an artist.
Harden is set to play the painter's mother for director Michael Campus when filming commences in Vancouver this month. A release date of December 14 is already planned.
