Hanks Clan Bring 'Buck Howard' to Bristol
Kevin Kline is in negotiations to join the cast.
No, Tom Hanks and his son Colin are not heading to ESPN for all you "in the know" types when it comes to Bristol. In fact, the father son duo has found a financier in the way of Bristol Bay Productions for their film The Great Buck Howard.
The film is described as a magician comedy in which Colin Hanks will play a kid fresh out of school who becomes the magic man's assistant. In a smaller role, Tom Hanks plays Buck's father, who is not at all enthused about his son's career choice. Further word on the cast involves Kevin Kline who is in talks to join the production as a renowned illusionist whose career is on the wane.
Sean McGinly will be directing his own script and production on the feature is planned to begin in July in New York.
