Hamri has a 'Dying Heart'
Another Iraq war drama gets the green light
Sanaa Hamri has enlisted to direct the new feature film Dreams of a Dying Heart for Focus Features.
The Iraq war drama was penned by Shawn Otto and centers on a journey through the mind of a female chopper pilot who's shot down in Iraq and finds herself in a race against time to save her own life and find a way back to her 18-year-old daughter.
Hamri's last outing was also with Focus as she directed another Sanaa in Sanaa Lathan in Something New, which was released back in January '06.
