'Halloween is for Amateurs': Teaser Trailer for 'Season of the Witch'
Any chance this one will impress?
We have just received an early teaser trailer for Dominic Sena's upcoming supernatural thriller Season of the Witch starring Nicolas Cage, Ron Perlman, Stephen Campbell Moore and Christopher Lee and due in theaters on March 19, 2010.
Cage stars as a 14th century Crusader who returns with his comrade (Perlman) to a homeland devastated by the Black Plague. A beleaguered church, deeming sorcery the culprit of the plague, commands the two knights to transport an accused witch (Claire Foy) to a remote abbey, where monks will perform a ritual in hopes of ending the pestilence.

As fun as this trailer looks, you have to be questionable considering Sena is the director at the helm following his latest bust with Whiteout. While I can give Swordfish and Gone in 60 Seconds a guilty pleasure pass, Sena just doesn't do it for me and the inclusion of Nic Cage once again just makes it that much worse.
