Halle Berry as Barbarella?
Makes sense, but is it true?
During one of my trips to JoBlo.com I can across an interesting rumor they found at EntertainmentWise saying that "[Halle] Berry has recently confirmed her continued status as a sex symbol by nabbing the lead-role in the Barbarella remake."
That is all it says. There is no mention of when she said it, and even Omar at JoBlo asks, "Um, when exactly did she do that? Interview? Profile? Overheard drunken slur?" My guess is on the drunken slur after she caught a screening of Perfect Stranger. Man was that movie shitty!
Personally I think Berry is a terrible actress who never deserved an Oscar and doing a movie where all she has to do is look good is right up her alley. Unfortunately Barbarella is going to require some acting, which means you can go ahead and chalk this up as a pile if this rumor ends up indeed true.
By the way, Robert Rodriguez is helming the Barbarella remake, of which Berry will use to continue her "status as a sex symbol." Yay!
