Haggis Up for a 'Royale' Rewrite
Ready for a 'Million Dollar Bond'
Either the script for Casino Royale absolutely sucks or Sony/MGM is trying to make this the best Bond ever as they have now brought on yet another screenwriter, and this one is a screenwriter on top of his game as Paul Haggis has been tapped for the latest rewrite.
Haggis was nominated for an Oscar for his Million Dollar Baby script and will most likely garner even more Academy attention for his writing/directing outing this year in Crash. The first draft of the script was written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade who wrote The World Is Not Enough and Die Another Day.
This new development leads me to believe that the script may have been the reason we have not had a new Bond named yet, because no actor wants to make his double-O-debut in a shitty film. What do you think?
