Gyllenhaal in Liman's 'Moon Project'
Jake is heading to the moon
The space race begins again as Jake Gyllenhaal is set to star in Doug Liman's Untitled Moon Project in which the race to the moon is no longer just to be the first one to get there, instead this is a private expedition to the moon and the race for lunar colonization.
Liman penned the original script with John Hamburg, but author/screenwriter Mark Bowden (Black Hawk Down) did a complete reconception of the story and will pen the screenplay.
There isn't anything else to know outside of the fact that DreamWorks has targeted the project for the fast track. However, they will have to wait for Jake to finish Brothers for Jim Sheridan with Tobey Maguire and Natalie Portman.
