'Grindhouse' to Run Over 3 Hours!!
I can't help but think this is too much

So, today I get an email with the running time with the newly R-rated feature Grindhouse and it looks like the movie is going to be taking up 3 hours and 5 minutes of our time in theaters. In my opinion this is WAY TOO LONG already and I haven't seen anything more than the trailers. Does this mean that the much talked about fake trailers are going to run about 20 minutes inbetween the two features? Does this mean both features will run about an hour and 20 minutes each?
Unfortunately there aren't any specifics on how long Quentin Tarantino's "Death Proof" is or Robert Rodriguez's "Planet Terror," but if these movies really are the throwback to B-movies then I am not sure if I can handle over three hours of it all.
I am still not seeing it for about two weeks from now, about 3 days before it opens so I can't say for sure, but I don't think this is a very good sign.
Grindhouse hits theaters on April 6 and is rated R for strong graphic bloody violence and gore, pervasive language, some sexuality, nudity and drug use.

Wow, a double-news-nugget: It's gotten an R-rating and it's 3 hours long! :-)
I think you're on the money. From what I've seen and heard (Tarantino did some promos during BSG) I think 3 hours is WAY too much of this sort of "entertainment" to sit through.

Yeah. Tarantino's film is sure to be amazingly cool. I can't wait to see the Zombie genre refreshed =D!
