A slew of new and updated release dates have arrived as Cinematical points us to an update at ERC Box-Office with all the following Warner Bros. titles finding a place on the release schedule.

As many fanboys have noted the release date set for the second part in the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows finale coincides with the release date set for Paramount's proposed superhero ensemble The Avengers offering up a mildly interesting box-office battle, but in all likelihood Avengers will move off that date as only Robert Downey Jr. is said to be attached to that pic, which doesn't even have a director as of yet.

On top of the above dates I also learned today Overture Films will release F. Gary Gray's Law Abiding Citizen starring Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx on March 26, 2010 and Regent Releasing recently bumped Robert Pattinson's Salvador Dali feature Little Ashes to May 8, 2009.

I was also told Woody Allen's next picture Whatever Works will hit theaters in New York and Los Angeles on June 19, 2009 before expanding in July and Pedro Almodovar's Broken Embraces starring Penelope Cruz will hit limited theaters on November 6, 2009.

As a brief reminder, you can always keep up with all movie updates on the site including release dates, official sites, posters and more right here as I am updating movies on a daily basis.

Brad, whats the deal with The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus?
Apparently there's some trouble finding a distributor for the US, something to do with it being a Gilliam so a bit artsy?

I'm quite curious about it and with all the complaints about lack of originality this could be just the right thing.
