Just in time! After seeing her smoke crack I didn't think she had long before fate came knocking at her door. Just yesterday Amy Winehouse reportedly entered rehab just days after footage was shot of the singer high on valium and inhaling smoke out of a glass pipe. Something has finally hit home motivating the singer to get help with the support of her family, friends and her record label. [MTV]

Still on a long road of self destruction Britney Spears has failed yet again to regain visitation with her two boys in a court hearing this past Thursday. After showing up in a cocktail dress to the hearing the singer changed her mind and left the courthouse. Also in the world of Britney it seems she's been sporting a rock on her ring finger and could be engaged to British photographer Adnan Ghalib. [REUTERS]

New details in the Heath Ledger case say that the actor was casually dating Mary Kate Olson for the last three months. Also in the news are new reports citing that Heath Ledger was obsessed with the late Nick Drake who was a depressed English folk singer who died from a drug overdose at the young age of 26. Ledger allegedly made his own video tribute to the singer. The video clip shows Ledger drowning himself in a bath tub with Drake's music playing in the background. No news yet on whether the tape will be released. [PITCHFORK]

The ASSHOLE of the week award goes to…Fox News Talk Network host John Gibson for his complete lack of respect for human life! What a piece of work this so called professional is. This past Tuesday night after the tragic demise of actor Heath Ledger Gibson decides to call the star a "weirdo" among other distasteful statements.

OK! Magazine has pushed Jessica Simpson into possible legal action with their article "Jessica Dumped!" The magazine's article reported that Simpson was dumped by Tony Romo over his failure to make it to the NFL playoffs. Also in the article was talk of the failing relationship between the two Simpson sisters. So far only a letter has been sent by Jessica's attorney to the Editor-in-Chief demanding a retraction. The actress turned reality TV B&B owner Tori Spelling is pregnant with her second child. I've never taken the time to sit and watch her show and I don't think I would make time even if I was in a full body cast.
