'Golden Compass' Production Footage Video
The trailer is cool, give this a shot
HisDarkMaterials.org has posted some production footage from The Golden Compass that was featured at the Cannes Film Festival this year and made it available via YouTube.
First off, if you haven't seen the trailer you should give it a peek, it is quite cool.
The Golden Compass is based on the first book in Philip Pullman's trilogy in which dæmons and winged creatures live side by side with humans, and a mysterious entity called Dust just might have the power to unite the universes–if it isn't destroyed first. This first story centers on Lyra, a 12-year-old girl who starts out trying to rescue a friend who's been kidnapped by a mysterious organization known as the Gobblers – and winds up on an epic quest to save not only her world, but ours as well.
Check out the new footage below and click here for all the info on the film, which opens in theaters on December 7 and stars Dakota Blue Richards, Nicole Kidman, Eva Green, Daniel Craig and Sam Elliott.
