Giamatti Joins Vaughn in Christmas Comedy
Paul playing Santa?
It seems like it has been forever since Paul Giamatti played "Pig Virus" in Howard Stern's Private Parts and now he is a big star whose name grabs headlines and yet here we are once again talking about another role for him.
According to Variety, Giamatti will star alongside Vince Vaughn and play Santa in director David Dobkin's untitled holiday romp for Warner Bros.
Dobkin and Vaughn teamed together last year for New Line's Wedding Crashers and this time around the two have brought on Giamatti for this Christmas tale, which revolves around Santa's black-sheep brother (Vaughn), who returns home to the North Pole after a long absence.
The project was originally eyed as being called Fred Claus, but has since dropped that title.
