Get a Load of Megan's Foxy Fangs from 'Jennifer's Body'
Be careful with them teeth young lady...
The red band trailer is now online and today you get a first real look at what lies beneath those plumped up lips as Fangoria has unveiled the first official look at Megan Fox and her possessed choppers from 20th Century Fox's Jennifer's Body due in theaters on September 18.
The film was written by Oscar-winner Diablo Cody and was directed by Aeon Flux helmer Karyn Kusama and tells the story of a gorgeous cheerleader is possessed by a demon and starts feeding off the boys in a small Minnesota farming town, her "plain Jane" best friend must kill her, then escape from a correctional facility to go after the Satan-worshipping rock band responsible for the horrible transformation.
Along with Fox as the demon spawn cheerleader, the film stars Amanda Seyfried, Adam Brody, J.K. Simmons and Kyle Gallner and has already earned an R rating from the MPAA for sexuality, bloody violence, language and brief drug use.
Comments that were posted with regard to the trailer pretty much relied heavily on people noting "Megan Fox looks gorgeous" and then some keeping a level head saying, "Poor Megan Fox can't act." But for the most part people seemed mildly enthused about the film.

Why such disdain for Megan Fox? Don't get me wrong, I am no supporter of her body of work thus far, even if I am in great support of her body. However, I will continue to give her and other Hollywood actresses that are ostracized for their terrible acting a clean slate and the benefit of the doubt with each new release.
Let's think about this. Most actresses that get jobs solely on their looks will either fade away or become huge stars the public adores. Look at Cameron Diaz. She was an awful, awful actress in The Mask, and only got the role because of how gorgeous she was. Look at her complete body of work. I feel she's grown in her choices, and also grown as an actress. Will she ever be an Oscar contender? Probably not. But people like her, and she has attempted to become a legitimate, respectable actress.
I'm thinking, based on this trailer, she has made some progress. She still isn't a good or talented actress, but getting involved in a film penned by Diablo Cody was definitely a step in the right direction. If only we could keep Michael Bay away from her. Maybe then she may start to make some decisions that balance her good looks with the prospect of some hidden acting talent.

I think that there's a lot of backlash for Fox because she was thrust to celebrity status rather quickly and she hasn't had a chance to show an real talent. If she continues to do all cleavage and no character movies, she will be forgotten in about ten years. It would be nice to see her delve into a real good script. I dunno if Jeniffer's Body is the right vehicle for that.
@Matt: I am a bit confused. I hardly even scratch the surface when it comes to commenting on Megan Fox and her talent and then you go and say, "She still isn't a good or talented actress" and say she has been "ostracized for [her] terrible acting" and I am the one with the disdain?
You make a valid argument, but I'm not sure it's in the right forum.
@Brad Brevet: The comment wasn't directed at you so don't take it personally. I was simply commenting on the vast hate that is out there for Megan Fox, and was hoping for discussion.
And megan fox's is apparently the new angelina jolie !! are u kidding me. Terrible actress all she has is the bod and thats wut sells. If she at least gave a little thought into some acting classes it would help her out abit wouldnt you think?

I like to cook. No matter how much time, effort, attention, skill, or care I put into a meal, if the food I'm cooking with is rotten then the meal will probably make someone sick. Anyone who's acted knows how hard it is to drudge through poor dialog and when you're acting opposite green tape, you kind of have to stick to the script.
Jennifer's Body will be better because it's written by an Oscar winner, right? Maybe, but Juno doesn't hold up too well and Jason Reitmen is slightly more accomplished than Karyn Kusama. I'm a little surprised Amanda Seyfried isn't getting more attention.
