Gellar Traveling to Alternate Wonderland
'Alice' gets a make over.
Electronic Arts took "Alice in Wonderland" and twisted it all around, as you can tell from the pic to the left, when they released the videogame "Alice" and now Universal Pictures is jumping on the opportunity to bring the twisted tale to the big screen with Sarah Michelle Gellar set to star for Marcus Nispel.
Nispel was the director of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake making him an excellent choice to pick up the story of Alice after her home has been destroyed and her family killed. The sole survivor of the disaster, she returns to a dark and threatening Wonderland where she must confront her fears before returning to her normal life.
The rights to the game where originally picked up by Dimension Films, a production start date was not announced.
