Gellar Readies for Another 'Grudge'
Sarah Michelle confirmed for horror sequel.
The fellas over at Dread Central have just confirmed that Sarah Michelle Gellar will be reprising her role as Karen Davis in the sequel to the $110+ million horror hit The Grudge.
The news came to Dread Central via Grudge 2 scribe Stephen Susco, who told the site, "SMG is back. Without giving anything away, we've all been pretty focused on making a sequel that has a strong raison d’etre – a second chapter to an evolving story, instead of a sequel that’s made just because the first one performed well."
The Grudge 2 is currently eyeing an October 20, 2006 release as production is scheduled to begin toward the end of January.
