Futzing around With 'The Fantastic Mr. Fox'
New featurette is a must watch

Apple has debuted a brand new behind-the-scenes featurette for Wes Anderson's stop-motion animated film The Fantastic Mr. Fox and I have already read some so-called movie fans saying they wished Anderson had made this in CG. I can't even begin to tell you how much such a statement irritates me, but I already detailed my feelings on that front so I won't get all repetitive on you.
Instead, I urge you to take a look at the unique and revealing featurette directly below or check out the HD version over at Apple. Jason Schwartmann narrates as if he's speaking to a four-year-old and on top of all the normal stuff you typically get from these featurettes, you also get George Clooney jumping around in a field as well as a great little moment comparing "movie time" with "real time," but that one's short… blink and you'll miss it.
The Fantastic Mr. Fox hits theaters on November 25, 2009. For more information click here.

Well…if the idea is to get me even more excited for The Fantastic Mr. Fox…the featurette succeeds.
Lol, this adaptation looks so offbeat and weird… but that's the Roald Dahl style, so I approve wholeheartedly! I've been looking forward to this for over a year now.
I know how you feel about this film, Brad. But it looks so amateur'ish. I think they should have called Seth Green and his team from Robot Chicken for expert advice. His little stop action cable show is better than this.
