Full Trailer for 'S. Darko'
Any chance this thing is any good?
The official site for Fox Home Entertainment's upcoming S. Darko, which hits DVD and Blu-ray shelves on April 28 has been launched and with it comes the official full length trailer for the film.
S. Darko is the sequel to 2001's cult hit Donnie Darko directed by Richard Kelly and starring Jake Gyllenhaal. While Kelly has nothing to do with this film Daveigh Chase is back to reprise her role as Samantha as she deals with her brother's death and has found herself at age 17 with a broken family, mired in feelings of insignificance so she sets off on a road trip with her friend Corey who is played by Step Up 2 the Streets star Briana Evigan.
You can watch the full trailer below and I have attached the full length synopsis below that.
S. Darko takes place in the summer of 1995, seven years after the original film. It follows Donnie Darko's younger sister, Samantha (Daveigh Chase), who, in the wake of his death, has found herself at age 17 with a broken family, mired in feelings of insignificance. She and her best friend Corey (Evigan) set off on a road trip to Hollywood in a bid to 'make it big', but their journey is cut short when their car breaks down unexpectedly, leaving them stranded in a small desert town. When a meteorite happens to crash-land nearby, Samantha is plagued by bizarre visions telling of the universe's end and it appears that their breakdown was part of some grander plan. When she finds out she was actually adopted by the Darkos, and that she is in no way related to Donnie, she must face her own demons and, in doing so, save the world and herself.

what the hell is up with frank's voice? he does not look like the donnie darko frank and this movie is just going to be so terrible
yeah it looks pretty bad. Shame for Daveigh Chase since I think she deserves better.
Doesn't really look like it's gonna make much sense in context with Donnie Darko. Just looks like they've crammed in too many uses of the chest-worms (no idea what they're actually called) and wormholes, just to seem more mysterious.
i really hope the didnt just make a horrible sequal to one of my favorite movies of all time
