Full Length 'Year One' Trailer Arrives Online
Let's get primitive
Yesterday the trailer for Harold Ramis' Year One hit the Internet and while I added it to the trailer homepage I didn't get a chance to promote it due to my prior engagements involving a little something called the NCAA Tournament as I am reporting from Vegas for the next few days.
Anyway, the film stars Jack Black and Michael Cera and is directed by that old familiar face Harold "Egon" Ramis. The film centers on a couple of lazy hunter-gatherers (Black and Cera) who are banished from their primitive village and as a result set off on an epic journey through the ancient world. Year One will be released by Columbia Pictures and is set to hit theaters on June 19. It is currently rated R for some sexual content and language, but Columbia is challenging that rating so I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up with a PG-13 in the end.
Check out the trailer below and click here for a little more on the movie.

Looks like a laugh, Jack Black is supreme
I don't know what to think!!
It looks extremely ridiculous and more than a little dumb…
And yet…
I don't think I ever remember a mainstream comedy that had a premise quite this wacky and inventive. It looks both repellent and intriguing at the same time. Jack Black is sometimes really good, sometimes not. But Michael Cera is always a plus.
This looks hilarious! I am really looking forward to this film now.
