Fox Finds a Rom-Com for Wolverine
Jackman labeled as the 'Rebound Guy'
Variety is reporting that 20th Century Fox has just aquired the rights to the romantic comedy pitch Rebound Guy and are looking at Hugh Jackman to star.
The script is being penned by Jennifer Robinson and Dyanne Stempel as the story centers on a carousing bachelor who only dates girls on the rebound, secure in the knowledge that they never want a serious relationship after a long commitment. When he falls in love with a girl on the rebound, he inserts a "rebound guy" in front of him and positions himself as the real guy.
Jackman is currently filming X-Men 3 up in Vancouver for the study and will be following that up with The Prestige for director Christopher Nolan, which also stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine and David Bowie.
