Fox Searchlight's 'Adam' has a Trailer
Missed the summer preview, but it's not forgotten
Adam is a film that just barely missed the cut for my 2009 Summer Movie Preview, but it is far from forgotten and has the potential to be a buzzed about film for the rest of the year following its upcoming release on July 29, 2009.
The film stars Rose Byrne and Hugh Dancy and was purchased by Fox Searchlight following a successful showing at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival. The story follows the relationship between a somewhat socially dysfunctional young man and the woman of his dreams. Max Mayer directs after a relative quiet existence with only a couple of television episodes to his credit since his 1998 comedy Better Living.
