In addition to the Super Bowl trailer for Iron Man 3, Disney just sent over four new images and I've included those below along with the shorter trailer that played during the Super Bowl, before the extended trailer hit the Internet (which you can watch right here if you haven't done so yet).
In Iron Man 3, Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy's hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?
Iron Man 3 was directed by Shane Black and co-stars Ben Kingsley as the villainous Mandarin, Don Cheadle as James Rhodes/War Machine, Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts, Guy Pearce as Aldrich Killian, Rebecca Hall as Maya Hansen, James Badge Dale as Maya Hansen and William Sadler as Sal Kennedy.
The film hits theaters on May 3.

It looks good, all it has to be as a movie, is to be better than the 2nd which was decent but disappointing.
It seems in theory it can't be as underwhelming as Iron Man 2 and I think the story strands possible after The Avengers should prevent this from being too much like a flat actioner
I mean, it's gonna be filled with action of course anyway but it can still be better.
