The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

Great film (a tad overrated but a great film nonetheless), but this is not Dominik's first feature film. He also made the outstanding 2000 Aussie import "Chopper" with Eric Bana which was released here with much acclaim and fanfare. That said, for a sophomore effort "Jesse James" is indeed a major step forward.

Yes, he did make "Chopper" but I said "major" feature film and considering "Chopper" made $236,185 I wouldn't go so far as to call that major, or even minor in this case no matter what the fanfare was by the limited amount of people that saw it.
