Guess Universal got sick of the teen cash cow known as American Pie, so they've decided to get a new franchise called the 40-year old virgin. The movie explores Andy's attempt to lose something most people have lost come his age: his virginity; I say to Universal: good for them. They've made a mature, bold and fresh comedy movie and excells on all levels. The good side: -Steve Carell is funny as hell; -a great storyline that makes you think about the male's perspective of virginity; -awesome cast; -a ton of great and fresh new jokes; -a warm storyline that does a great job and at the same time doesn't ry to turn itself into a drama; -The Wedding Crashers is nothing compared to this one; -Top soundtrack; The downside: -some jokes miss the mark; Overall, the best comedy of the year. Watch it and laugh your butt off.
