I liked the movie...Nevertheless some things are so unreal...and i'm not talking about the aliens...(although their faces looked like Dobby from Harry Potter: Chamber Of Secrets) I don't think a real dad shoul leave his kids behind like Ray Ferrier (Tom Cruise), In some of the scenes it was just too weird that he just letft his kids behind (like when he goes to where the lightning hit the ground, he just says to his son Robbie (JustinChatwin) To go to Rachel (Dakota Fanning) instead of going with Robbie and keep the kids safe...) After all, the movie wasn't that bad... The one thing I can say is that Justin Chatwin Rocks...(especially the scene where he just step aside when his dad threw the Baseball to him...:-))

war of the worlds was better than I expected Tom Criuse played his role perfectly, as did dakota faniining, the special effects were great, for a sci fi movie it was awesome

This was a very entertaining movie that I really enjoyed, it had really good special effects, but it had some editing problems, and it also had Tom Cruise.
