While being a spoof film with puppets, it actually gives a look of a twisted modern world but very similar to ours. The themes they touch here and the general analizes society in a post 9/11 world and the world's view of America, possibly even better then the so the phony documentaries Farenheit 9/11 and Bowling for Columbine. In the world of Team America, the US are the world police and their job is to track down and stop the terrorists and along the way make somewhat harsh, but truthfull remarks on anti-war celebrities(at one point in the film they are the Bad guys). Here's the good parts of this film: -Nicely crafted enviroments and life-like puppets; -Very funny and entertaining music; -Gotta love the in-jokes; -very mature film for the way it takes itself seriously; The downside is: -not as funny as South Park; A great movie to watch and the DVD is just asking for it.
