I saw Rent, and it blew my mind. It was THE most amazing, brilliant, thing I have ever seen. Even if one does not like musicals it is still unbelievable. Rent teaches you to open your eyes and see the world as it is, and not how you want to see it. It does not hide behind false images, as many movies do, and it is truly original, with actors truly living up to the name of Broadway. If you have not seen it, my advice is to see it as soon as possible, it will truly move you. It moved myself and many others that I know to tears, and at the same time it is not a tragedy, it makes me laugh everytime I see it, I am truly grateful it was made into a movie, and plan to buy it when it comes out on DVD, Rent outranks every other movie in its category and more by millions, it truly deserves all the praise it gets and one can give. La Vie Boheme!

So I must start by saying I hate musical. I hated RENT, I hated Moulin Rouge, and really hated Chicago. Musicals have never been my thing. My girlfriend made me watch this movie called Saawariya. I have to say its not bad. I wasn't really into the music but the visuals are amazing. It reminded me of the scenes from Hero or Golden Flower.
