Coming into the theatre as a newbie to the Frank Miller effect, I was able to take a 3rd party novice perspective to the film. I attended the LA premiere, so watching with the directors and actors did add some excitement. I found the movie visually stunning. Bringing tolife the dark scenery and provocative content on screen was breath taking and interesting to watch. Being the first graphic novel I've seen brought to life on screen, I was impressed. The cleches werent cheesy when they could have been, and the dialogue of our heros, played by Bruce Willis and Mickey Rourke were at times hilarious and fresh to discover. Being a girl usually only interested in movies with internal pain and confict, funny, and full of character development, I was entertained.

The first movie kicked ass because it was so close to the first 3 (out of 7) graphic novels of the series. But the crazy part is that the first three books aren't the best of the series. A Dame to Kill for is my personal favorite. So I'm obviously looking foward to the sequal.

This movie wasn't just amazing because of it's amazing special and visual effects, it was also amazing because of its amazing story of three stories in one. Oh and not to mention, some of the most amazing actors in holloywood and my favorite, is it Mickey Rourke, no, but he's still very good in all his movies, is it Clive Owen, no, but same as the last, is it Bruce Willis, yes, and he always will be my favorite.
