I've heard this movie called a 'character study', but I think that it is a flawed assesment. With the three leads we should have gotten SO much more. Sure, we learn about DeFoe's character, but his involvement in the kidnapping is lied about until the very end. So just when you think you understand his reasons you realize that you really don't because being fired is just not enough. I think what really bothers me about this movie is that nothing really happens. This could have been a short film and it would have been better.
