I'm guessing that I'm one of the very few who paid the 80 million total of Catwoman and one of the few who found it a bit enjoyable. While not abismally bad, Pitof could have done much better then just spitting in the whole mythology of the Catwoman character. One of the things that made the character so interesting was that she was somewhere in between, never trully good, but not that bad either. For those who don't know Catwoman is a villain from the Batman rouge gallery, but so much as a villain in a sense of world domination, she just likes to steal things purely for money. In recent comics she has become less of an ambigous villain to a more kind of anti-heroine. Catwoman was also greatly portrayed in Batman Forever even though her onscreen chemistry with Keaton was C- material at best, this Catwoman, however is not. By changing the character into a super-powered cat doesn't seem to fit, probably taking a page from Spiderman, who knows? Anyway, it just doesn't cut it. Catwoman here, has some very vague traits from incarnations of the characters, but those moments are so short, that they end up pointless. Catwoman could have been waiting a couple more years before getting into this mess of a movie. The acting is just plain bad, while Halle Berry was under the impression that her ""hot"" Catwoman suit was going to work, which is in fact it's so hot is silly and goofy, the only response she would get from Batman is ""slut"". Better luck next time, Halle... There's nothing more to the plot apart that's predicable and loses it's mistery pretty soon. Everybody else just feels lost in a painfully obvious plot. Still is super-hero standard, for better or for worse. The good part is at least Warner Brothers learn from their mistakes in this movie by later releasing Constantine and Batman Begins. Either way, this is a very bad movie.
