Sex and the City: The Movie

I saw this movie last night and it wasnt even as sexual and nude as i thought it would be. Overall it was a great movie. Sarah Jessica Parker was awesome and Jennifer Hudson was in the movie alot more than i anticipated. Samanntha just as mischievious as usual and now she has a new little frend. A dog that is just like her. Go see it!!!!

I went as an advance compromise for Hell Boy later this summer and was a little bummed at the lack of gratuitous cougar sex (these ladies are officially in cougar territory) and the run time. Fortunately my massive diet coke forced me to pee about 4 times, other than that it felt very, very self indulgent and I expect it to seriously drop off the planet over the next two weeks.

Just guessing, I know a lot of women who do not usually go to the movies went to see this which probably accounted for a lot of the $$. Then again it did over 5 million Monday (second only to Iron Man for non-holiday Mondays) so maybe the steam hasn't left yet.

It could take a small hit from Kung Fu Panda this weekend (not really from Zohan) and the following weekend The Happening will get some females as will the Hulk (Ed Norton)

Yeah, it did perform well during the week. I think this weekend could be decent for it, but after that I don't see it sustaining much drive.

Well, it's still playing in Boston and it's now 18 July. It's getting a decent run.

I went to see it expecting more than what was offered.

I was supposed to watch this movie but I was too occupied then. I used to hear great comments from this movie so I'm waiting for the DVD to come out.

But the comments here are otherwise. Now I am more curious.

for some reason i had really low expectations about this movie.... i am an absolute SATC fan...! But actually it was better than i tought i liked it a lot.
