Five Join In Williams' 'Walker'
Indie pic attracts attention.

As independent films continue to appeal to larger names in the acting community another grabs the attention of five actors as Matt Williams' flick Walker pulls in Jason Patric, Drea de Matteo, KaDee Strickland, Sam Shepard and Bruce Dern.
The story is a drama set in 1957, concerning a small-town charmer (Patric) who is forced to make difficult decisions in his fight to save his two daughters. De Matteo will play his ex-wife. Strickland plays Patric's love interest, Dern his surrogate father and Shepard an opportunistic hustler.
Williams co-wrote the script with Alex Paraskevas and will direct as principal photography begins next week.
