If you believe in love at first sight, you never stop looking...
If there is one winter season film that everyone seems to always mention to me it has been the Oscar bait drama Closer, which stars Julia Roberts, Jude Law, Clive Owen and that little Garden State cutie Natalie Portman – looking a bit more seductive than cute in this one I would say.
Nevertheless, Closer is said to take an honest look at modern relationships by telling the story of four strangers and their chance meetings, instant attractions, and brutal betrayals. Now, if you have seen the trailer you know that drama is certain to be the highlighted word, with catch phrases such as "intimacy is a lie… we tell ourselves" and "truth is a game… you play to win" we may be looking at the bigscreen "Melrose Place" fourway.
