In preparation for my massive 60+ Summer Movie Preview, Fox Searchlight has just sent over our first seven looks at Day Watch, the second installment of a trilogy based on the best-selling sci-fi novels of Sergei Lukyanenko. The film is set in contemporary Moscow and revolves around the conflict and balance maintained between the forces of light and darkness — the result of a medieval truce between the opposing sides.
Directed by Timur Bekmambetov Day Watch hits theaters on June 1. Click here or on the teaser pic above to check out the new stills and also be sure to check out the trailer right here.
As for that Summer Preview, that will be hitting the front page of RopeofSilicon.com on April 16, so keep your eyes peeled. Hm, that kind of works with the pic above eh?
