Can this one improve on the original?
The Day the Earth Stood Still is one feature I am highly interested in. John Moore doesn't seem like a director capable of a film smarter than an ant. Keanu Reeves seems like a good choice considering his acting style for Klaatu. So how will it all come together? Scott Derrickson is directing DTESS and has a great angle on films. I hope his Paradise Lost project is able to get some legs because it sounds great in this interview.
