First Look at Mark Wahlberg in 'Max Payne'
Wow, that didn't take long
DarkZero has the first look at Mark Wahlberg as Max Payne, the title character of the upcoming videogame adaptation Max Payne directed by John Moore and, as we learned earlier today, co-starring Mila Kunis.
The news most fans of the game are concerned about seems to be not so much the look of Wahlberg as Payne, but more in terms of John Moore's ability to bring the noir aspect of the game to life in a film, especially considering rampant rumors that they are shooting for a PG-13 rating. Of course, the fact that Kunis is playing a female assassin when she looks more like a slutty girl scout doesn't help matters either.

I have very fond memories of playing the game in middle school and thinking it was the coolest thing ever. Now, I have a feeling the movie is going to be just another We Own the Night.
The game has one of the best stories of any game I've ever played. I'm interested to see how this turns out. I do like Wahlberg and he typically takes decent roles.
