UPDATE: First Official Still AND Footage of Jim Carrey as Scrooge in 'A Christmas Carol'

You've seen the poster, and just as early footage from Robert Zemeckis' A Christmas Carol was screened at the Cannes Film Festival we receive the first official image of Jim Carrey as Ebenezer Scrooge.

A Christmas Carol is based on the classic Dickens tale and was filmed using the motion-capture technique used in Polar Express and Beowulf. The film is set to hit theaters on November 6 and will be released in 3-D.
