The story follows Adam (Hiddleston), an underground musician reunites with his centuries-old lover (Swinton) after he becomes depressed and tired with the direction human society has taken. Their love is interrupted and tested by her wild and uncontrollable little sister (Mia Wasikowska).
This, of course, isn't going to be your typical vampire story as Jim Jarmusch delivers anything but typical films. Personally I haven't been much of a fan of his more recent work, but as I've been exploring his earlier films there is a lot of greatness to be found in films such as Mystery Train and Down by Law and I still need to see Stranger Than Paradise.
The first look image above comes via The Playlist and Only Lovers Left Alive is currently without a distributor, but a Cannes Film Festival premiere would seem most likely.
