UPDATED: First Look at the 'X-Men: First Class' Characters
Help me name these people

UPDATED: I added a slightly larger look to the gallery for this film right here.
MSN (via Bleeding Cool) debuted the above first look image at the cast of X-Men: First Class, which is directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass) and stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Caleb Landry Jones, Lucas Till, Kevin Bacon, Jennifer Lawrence, Edi Gathegi, Jason Flemyng, Oliver Platt, Rose Byrne, Morgan Lily, January Jones, Zoe Kravitz, Bill Milner, Charlie Rowe and Ray Wise.
I tried looking at the image and figuring out who everyone was, but I just couldn't figure everyone out. Starting from the left I know that's Michael Fassbender as Magneto, then Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert and January Jones as Emma Frost. From the right it's James McAvoy as Professor X, then Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique and I am guessing that's Zoe Kravitz as Angel behind her, but I'm not positive. Then, after that I am at a loss. Can you guys help me out so I can caption the graphic?
X-Men: First Class hits theaters on June 3 and charts the beginning of the X-Men saga.

I think in blue, behind all caracters is Nicholas Hoult as the Beast. just a guess, for beeing blue.
this will suck
Isn't Hoult playing Beast, in the very back?
According to IMDB:
Nicholas Hoult as Beast
Jason Flemynd as Azazel
Lucas Till as Havok is on the right next to Beast
Jason Flemyng rather
Okay, I couldn't tell if that was Flemyng or not with the make-up and wasn't sure if that was Beast or some character I was unfamiliar with. Thanks for the help.
No problem. It took me a moment as well but paired with some knowledge of the other comic book characters, Azazel makes the most sense (I'm not even sure I know about Azazel IF he was in the comics) but I am pretty sure it looks like Flemyng.
This looks pretty dismal.
They look like a bunch of wannabes
This will make a shit load of money…but I hope not cuz this movie looks BAD….
This is such a random collection of characters that it's hard to get excited about it. So Emma Frost and Mystique are as old as Xavier and Magneto? When Mystique lost her powers and turned human in that last X-men flick, shouldn't she have been a wrinkly old woman then?
Ah well… I probably shouldn't put any thought into it.
Raven /is/ that old. She's Nightcrawler's mother in the comics. You may or may not be right about her aging as her powers essentially revitalized her cells. It's not that she's shapeshifting to look young, it's something entirely different. From Sabretooth #3:
"My morphing powers continually revitalize my body cells and DNA memory. That’s why I can look just like I did all those years ago."
Food for thought. :)
I not really very excited about this.
After X3 and Wolverine things are starting to smack more of Fox just trying to bleed as much out of what started off as a relatively decent franchise as they can.
Disappointing first look, thought this project had the potential to be cool but it looks like a big Fantastic Four group. Too bad.
The only thing that looks remotely good about this movie is michael fassbender and james mcavoy
I wonder what Kevin Bacon will look like as Sebastian Shaw? LOL
If this is supposed to be the X-men when they first started, then where are the blue and yellow suits? I don't remember any of these guys aside from Beast as the prototype of the team. If you are going to say it's in the beginning, you really should stay true to the comic book.
I'm very upset. Why the fuck does James McAvoy have hair? Isn't he supposed to be Xavier?
Yes he is and he can walk as well…
think of the film as leading up to the events of his paralysis (not sure why that would explain his lack of hair)
I'm oriented in the X-Men mythos. I know X can walk, but he IS NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE HAIR.
In X-Men Origins: Wolverine, he didn't have any hair either.
lets try to forget origins ever happened, eh?
Ditto. I can live with that.
I have a hard time believing everyone shown is supposed to be the same age. I think that part of the story will be prior to the school, and then with it.
To be honest, the looks of the characters appear far more faithful to the source material, which is really the only issue I've had with the films.
I may be mistaken, but wasn't Cyclops supposed to be in this?
Looks really cheap, especially the makeup on Mystique.
Are people really judging a film based on one piece of promotional advertising?
I know first impressions are important but these reactions are a bit premature, why not wait for a trailer or hell, wait for the reviews when the film opens?
It feels like films have to try so hard to please people these days
In the worlds of the worst Rapper who ever lived: Soulja Boy Tell 'Em: "Man, that shit was ugly!"
And to think Matthew Vaughn did this movie because he believes the comic book films are dying. If you ask me, after seeing this photo, I think Matthew Vaughn's career is dying. Why couldn't Bryan Singer come back to directed instead of doing Jack the Giant Killer?
How can comic book films be dying? Matthew Vaughn must be out of his mind.
This looks so stupid! No Cyclops, no Jean Grey, and no Iceman. They were all the original X-men. And Beast wasnt blue yet. He was still human like. Hated X-men 3 because it went so off track with the comic. Im not even going to bother to watch this one!
