First Image from 'Iron Man 2' is Here
Hey Tony, you look just like you did in the first movie... go figure
USA Today has just released the first image of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark in the upcoming Iron Man 2 along with an article with quotes from director Jon Favreau who has been madly Twittering his on set experiences.
"How many superheroes are open about their true identities?" Favreau asks. "We wanted to play with that idea. But it obviously has consequences — in his relationships, on the team. There are a lot of areas we can explore."
I fully expect Iron Man 2 to have a massive presence at Comic Con this year in San Diego just as it did in 2007 when it came out the obvious winner with the crowd at the convention. However, at that time it was a major underdog and a lesser known comic entity to general audiences at that time and Favreau realizes it telling USA Today, "I really enjoyed when we were a dark horse and no one knew much about us. … I hope we can find that place again."
I will be at Comic Con at the end of July to bring you all the news so stay tuned.
