In a year filled with disappointments one film managed to come out of nowhere and blow me away. A film based on a cancelled TV series no less. A film that just may be my favorite movie of the year.

Serenity, based on the Fox TV series “Firefly”, a show that only lasted 15 episodes, absolutely redefines sci-fi. A cowboy action film set in space, all this hit me without a real knowledge of where it came from. After some research it was my pleasure to sit down with those responsible.
