When a couple of lazy hunter-gatherers (Jack Black and Michael Cera) are banished from their primitive village, they set off on an epic journey through the ancient world in Columbia Pictures’ comedy Year One. Harold Ramis directs. The screenplay is by Harold Ramis & Gene Stupnitsky & Lee Eisenberg (“The Office”) from a story by Harold Ramis. The film is produced by Judd Apatow, Harold Ramis, and Clayton Townsend.

After originally being slapped with an R-rating, the Harold Ramis directed prehistoric comedy starring Jack Black and Michael Cera has now been lowered to a PG-13, but should talent live up to concept I don't think this one will suffer in the slightest as it is a comedy that could certainly challenge The Hangover for the second best comedy of the summer.

Year One was directed by Harold Ramis and the MPAA has rated it PG-13 for crude and sexual content throughout, brief strong language and comic violence.

The cast includes Jack Black, Michael Cera, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Oliver Platt, David Cross, Vinnie Jones, Juno Temple, Olivia Wilde, Paul Rudd, Hank Azaria, Xander Berkley, Horatio Sanz, Harold Ramis, Kyle Gass and Bill Hader.
