Dan Brown's "The Da Vinci Code" was one of the worst books I ever tried to read and I stopped about midway through. The 2006 filmed adaptation was tolerable at best. However, Brown's novel "Angels & Demons" puts "Da Vinci" to shame and this really could be a stand out film. Considering the $215+ million the first film made I really think this one could be one of the biggest hits of the summer.

Angels and Demons was directed by Ron Howard and the MPAA has rated it PG-13 for sequences of violence, disturbing images and thematic material.

The cast includes Tom Hanks, Ayelet Zurer, Ewan McGregor, Armin Mueller-Stahl, Stellan Skarsgård, Thure Lindhart and Nikolaj Lie Kaas.
