Batman will own July in Christian Bale's second outing as Gotham's protector and this time he brings along the late Heath Ledger whose performance as the Joker may truly scare the bejebus out of the kiddies in the audience.

However, when people aren't watching Batman clean up Gotham they may be checking out Will Smith as bum-turned-superhero in Hancock, the red devil in Hellboy 2 or the long gestating X-Files 2.

But that isn't all July has to offer, nope. Dakota Fanning gets raped in Hounddog, Eddie Murphy continues to ruin his career in Meet Dave, things fly out of the screen in Journey to the Center of the Earth 3-D and Meryl Streep stars in Mamma Mia!.
