![]() This is a Woody Allen feature so I can already hear critics being split on how good it is. Then again, there is always that slight possibility that they will all hate it. Then once again, there is the smallest of possibilities that it will actually be good! Heaven forbid, a Woody Allen film everyone likes? Allen certainly hasn't managed to intrigue audiences like he used to, but his stories always have potential and Cassandra's Dream will mark the first time we have seen Colin Farrell since Miami Vice, wonder if he was forced to drop the mustache.
![]() Set in contemporary London, "Cassandra's Dream" is a powerful and thrilling story about two brothers (Ewan McGregor, Colin Farrell) who are desperate to better their troubled lives. One is a chronic gambler in debt over his head, and the other is a young man in love with a beautiful actress (newcomer Hayley Atwell) he has recently met. Their lives gradually become entangled into a sinister situation with intense and unfortunate results. Written and directed by Academy Award winner Woody Allen, the film also stars Tom Wilkinson and Sally Hawkins. The score is by Philip Glass and the cinematography by Vilmos Zsigmond.
There are a few things to take notice of before you get started that may help you sift through all 57 movies, because, let's face it, that is a lot of movies and you only have so much time to waste at work all at once. So, first off you will notice that every time you click on a movie title the dot next to it will change to a red check mark to let you know that you have previewed that film and it is checked off the list. If you don't clean out your browser history those red checks could stay for a couple days or so, giving you time to come back later and check out the rest. The other thing to notice has to do with the little yellow stars you see next to 25 of the 57 films. These are the 25 films I am most anticipating from this upcoming fall season and I have also listed each of them below in release date order. If you do nothing else, be sure to check out these 25 as they are sure to spark some measure of interest for you and get you excited for the next three months to come. Now enjoy!
