Welcome to RopeofSilicon.com's coverage of the 2007 San Diego Comic Con. As myself, Laremy and Andre set out to cover what has become the largest comic book convention in the world bringing folks of every kind together to celebrate the wonder that is the continuing rise of the comic book and graphic novel in our culture.

So far this year we have seen such movies as 300, Ghost Rider, TMNT, Spider-Man 3, Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer and Transformers. While they might not have all been the greatest films there is no discounting their impact on the box-office and we still have plenty of the films in the future to look forward to, which is why we must descend on San Diego and bring back to you all the news that is... Comic Con...
