UPDATE: Watch the trailer right here.

While there are many titles I'll be adding to my list of Toronto must sees of those that were just announced this morning, the one I'm most looking forward to is John Turturro's Fading Gigolo in which Turturro stars opposite Woody Allen as Fioravante and Murray respectively, two best friends who decide to go into the gigolo business together and subsequently attract the suspicion of the Hasidic Jewish community in which they live. The duo quickly finds themselves caught up in the crosscurrents of love and money as Murray ultimately falls for a Jewish widow.

Along with Allen and Turturro, the cast includes Vanessa Paradis, Liev Schreiber, Sharon Stone and Sofia Vergara. Turturro wrote the screenplay.

I have also included two more pictures and the film's teaser poster directly below.

Sounds very interesting. I wonder why the poster homage to American Beauty though.

John Turturro is a wonderful actor and has done a number of roles where he has deserved a nom. Him and Allen do fit together really well, should be interesting.

One to look forward to! I hope this will get a proper cinema start in Europe and will not go directly to DVD.
