Explore 'The Science of Watchmen'

Yup, yet another way to find a way to talk about this movie

Peter at SlashFilm found this interesting little "Science of Watchmen" video on YouTube as University of Minnesota physics professor James Kakalios discusses how he was tapped to add a physics perspective to the upcoming Warner Brothers movie, Watchmen. Kakalios discusses how quantum mechanics can explain Dr. Manhattan's super human powers in the film, and how he came to become an expert on the topic of the physics of superheroes.

Apparently Kakalios wrote a book called "Physics of Superheroes" and he certainly sounds like a pretty smart guy, but after fumbling through this nearly 7-minute video I was left with feeling of "Huh?" and "Who cares?" Of course this translates to me just not getting what he is talking about, the science behind The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was so much easier to understand.

Probably just me, but check it out for yourself if you are interested directly below.
